The Carmel Marina Material Recovery Facility was opened on April 15,1996 to service the communities of Monterey County : Carmel, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Marina, Del Rey Oaks, Sand City, and Seaside. We reduce the amount of solid waste going to our landfills by removing recycleable materials from the waste stream and promoting recycling in our communities to help ensure a brighter future through a cleaner environment.
