Welcome to WM ezPay



The new WM ezPay enhances our customer’s ability to join in the preservation of our environment by offering paperless invoices, inserts and other communications regarding their Waste Management account.

If you are currently enrolled in WM ezPay, all of your enrollment information has converted to the new platform but you will need to reset your password. To access your account, simply enter your current User ID and Password. The system will then send you a temporary password that you will use to access your account the first time, where you will be prompted to change to a password of your choice (note: that you may reset to your original password). For questions or assistance, please call 1-866-834-2080.

If you are not already enrolled, all you need is your WM ezPay Account ID and the Billing zip code associated with your account to get started.

For optimum performance, we suggest using Microsoft Internet Explorer browser 6.0 or later version.

WM ezPay - WM's Online Payment Options

WM Customers: 11/16/2009 Notice: 

The banking/financial institutions recently advised of the possibility of a phishing campaign ("phishing":  a fraudulent process that attempts to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and payment details) to gain access to customer information.  Should you receive a message with "Rejected ACH transaction" or something similar in the Subject line or "nacha.org" as the sender, do not respond to the email or open the link.  Instead, call the Waste Management Service Center at 800-964-3373.

Use one of the buttons above to:

  • Log on to WM ezPay – Enter your User ID and Password and manage your WM account to:
    • Quickly make one-time payments with or without an invoice.
    • Store payment information safely and securely to your profile for future use, using one of the following payment methods:  checking account, savings account, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
    • Set up automatic (recurring) payments using a stored payment method.  Enter your information once and the information is securely stored and used to automatically pay your bill each billing cycle, using the parameters you define.
    • Receive and view invoices online. (Please note - You will no longer receive an invoice by mail.)

    Important:  If you use a spam blocker program, please be sure that WMezPayNotice@WM.com is listed as a valid email address or you will not receive your invoices. 

  • Make a one-time payment - There is no enrollment, no remembering user IDs or passwords and we do not store any customer. Bank account or credit card information..  If you provide your email address, we will keep it with your payment record and send an electronic payment confirmation or contact you if there is a problem with your payment.  Each time you make a payment, you will need to provide your account number, invoice number, full name, address, and payment type information (ie: bank account or credit card information). Your transaction is securely processed and you won't have to worry about writing a check or mailing the payment.

  • Enroll in WM ezPay – Create a User ID and Password for easy access to your WM account.  You will need the following information to get started:
    • WM Account ID – Located on your invoice in the upper right hand corner.
    • The Zip Code that is associated with your account.

If your account is past due: Please note that if your account past due in accordance with the terms on your invoice, you may be in "stop service". If you are in stop service or are a cancelled customer, there may be a fee to resume your service and you should contact your local Waste Management site to make your payment and restart service.  Your payment may take up to 5 business days to post to your account.  Your pickup will occur on your next scheduled pick up day after service is restarted.   If your service has been stopped for non-payment, you must pay the resume fee in order to restart your service.

In additon to the two online payment options discussed above, we also offer two other way to pay your bill: a pay-by-phone (IVR) option, and a "local/walk-in" option available at a CheckFree location near you. See below for more information on these other payment options.

Other Payment Options

  • Pay-by-Phone - Dial 1-866-WMI-2PAY (1-866-964-2729) to use the IVR (interactive voice response) to process a payment on your Waste Management account. To use this payment option, you will need your WM ezPay Account ID or WM Account Number and Zip Code. To ensure your payment posts correctly and promptly, we also recommend that you have your Invoice Number available.

  • CheckFree Payment Centers - We have partnered with CheckFree Corporation to offer a local walk-in payment option. You can now pay your WM invoice at one of the many CheckFree payment centers throughout the US.

    To make a payment, simply find a CheckFree payment center near you; Select “Waste Management” from the drop-down list in Option 1 and enter your zip code

    • The cost for this service is $1.00, which is paid directly to CheckFree.
    • You must present your WM invoice, or your full account number and invoice number [as it appears on the invoice], when paying your bill at one of the local CheckFree locations.
