WM ezPay – How It Works
Welcome to WM ezPay. WM ezPay offers two convenient ways to pay your Waste Management invoices online.
Option 1: Online Billing- View your bills online, save keystrokes by securely saving your payment information, set up payments to be made on a future date, save time by setting up automatic payments.
Option 2: One-time Payment - No enrolling, no User ID or password to remember. Just tell us who you are, what account # and invoice you want to pay, and what method of payment you want to use.
WM ezPay Online Billing
Register with WM ezPay by providing information found on your current Waste Management Invoice.


Pick your own User ID and password. Verify or enter your name, address, phone, and email.

New invoices will show up in your Inbox for you to view and pay. When an invoice is sent to your inbox, you are notified via email.

View your invoices online.

Enter and securely save your bank account or credit card information.

Click the 'Pay' button to make a payment for your invoice.

or click on 'Automatic Payments' to setup a payment rule to have your invoices paid automatically each time you are billed.

Click 'Payment Activity' to review your payments.

Click 'Accounts Setup' to add additional Waste Management accounts and management all of them with one User ID. Then pay multiple invoices on multiple accounts simultaneously.
WM ezPay One-time Payment
Launching WM ezPay
When you click the WM ezPay link on the Waste Management web site (www.wm.com), you are directed to a welcome screen that provides a link to the secure WM ezPay on-line bill payment service.After clicking either the Make a Payment or the WM ezPay link, a Security Alert window displays, informing you that you are about to view a web page over a secure connection. Clicking OK on this window takes you to the WM ezPay Payment Info screen.

Completing the Payment Info Screen
On the WM ezPay Payment Info screen, you will be asked to provide some information from your Waste Management invoice. The following payment information is required at this step:
- Your Waste Management account number
- Payment Type – For most customers that will be ‘Invoice’
- If you choose Invoice, you will need the number of the invoice you are paying.
- Residential customers may use any previous invoice number for their account.
- Whether this account is for an individual or a business
- The amount you are paying today
- Payment method (either bank account or credit card)

Completing the Contact Info Screen
After you click the Continue button, the Contact Info screen displays. On the Contact Info screen, you will be asked to provide your personal contact information.This information will be used only if Waste Management needs to contact you regarding your payment. Your personal contact information will not be sold or used for any other purpose. Please be sure to provide your e-mail addressand we will send you a confirmation of your payment. Your e-mail address will only be used for communicating with you about your Waste Management account.

Completing the Payment Method Screen
After you click the Continue button, the Payment Method screen displays. On the Payment Method screen, you will be asked to provide some additional information about your method of payment. This additional information includes:
- Type of account (checking
or savings) if payment method is bank account
- Additional required account information includes the routing number, account number and bank name
- You will also need to check the box authorizing the direct debit of your bank account
- Type of card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) if payment method is credit card

Reviewing the Confirm Payment Screen
After you click the Continue button, the Confirm Payment screen displays. This is the last of the four main screens of the WM ezPay system. This screen summarizes all the information you have provided on a single page. Each section corresponds to one of the other four screens you have just completed. Each section also provides a Change button, which allows you to update any incorrect information in that section.

There is also a check box near the bottom of the screen that indicates you have read the Terms and Conditions for using WM ezPay. The red text under the Terms and Conditions heading is a direct link to the Terms and Conditions document. Please read the Terms and Conditions before submitting your payment.
After you have carefully read the Terms and Conditions and each section of the Confirm Payment screen, making any necessary updates, click the Make Payment button to complete the online payment process. Be sure to wait for the Payment Request Submitted screen to appear before closing the window on your browser.

When the Payment Request Submitted screen displays, print a copy of the confirmation statement for your records. You can print the confirmation by clicking the red text that says “print the page.” After printing your confirmation, you may either make additional payments on the same account or a different account or exit the WM ezPay system.
